Oh what fun I had creating this ensemble for you. Did you notice the Acetate Card Boxes we now have available? They are located on page 13 of the Holiday Catalog. That’s what I’m showing you today!
I created 5 cards because that’s what you can fit in these clear boxes. Five cards and five envelopes. I even decorated the front of the box once everything was neatly tucked inside:

If you look closely at the Acetate Card Box, you’ll notice that I embossed the outside of it with the Winter Wonder Embossing Folder. If you keep the card box flat, you can slide the embossing folder over the front and inside to run it through the Big Shot Machine to emboss. It works like a charm! Here are all of the new Holiday Catalog products I used on this ensemble:
The five cards are all the same but I opted to use the Foil Snowflakes a little differently. To prepare all five of the snowflakes, I cut the center of each one with the 1-3/4″ Circle Punch like this:
You could actually save the outside portion to use as a wreath or just add another circle over the center with something stamped on it. Two-for-one deal!

The snowflakes are from the designer paper and I cut those with the 1-1/2″ Circle Punch. I just picked a snowflake and cut it into a circle. The Seasonal Bells stamp set has the perfect banner to use on these cards. I stamped the banner 5 times with VersaMark Ink and embossed with Gold Embossing Powder:

The background was dry-embossed using the Winter Wonder Embossing Folder. Do you like the white on vanilla look for the cardstock layers? I love that look:

Notice what I did on this card with the Foil Snowflake? I flipped it over to the white side and sponged Sweet Sugarplum Ink on it. Clever huh?

I used the white side of the Foil Snowflake on this card.

How about Bermuda Bay Ink on this one?

And finally, a silver Foil Snowflake. All of the cards are identical except for the change-up Foil Snowflakes on each one.

For the front of the Acetate Card Box, I wrapped a 1″ strip of the designer paper around the whole box after I embossed the front and then added Vanilla Cardstock and a Copper Foil snowflake in the center. That’s all that’s needed to dress the front of the box!
