Elegant Lines Textured Impressions Folder

July 20, 2010 3 Comments

This is one of those “OMG” moments. Imagine if all you had to do was make a sandwich with your cardstock piece inside an embossing folder, between 2 cutting pads, and roll it through your BigShot machine…………and your end result is the background in this card:

It truely is just that quick and easy, look closely below at the detail in this new embossing folder. It is called “Elegant Lines Textured Impressions Folder”. The details for this new item are listed below. I used “Very Vanilla” for the cardstock layer.

My butterfly was also created with my “Big Shot” and the “Beautiful Butterfly” die. I stamped the “Rose Red” butterfly with the “En Francais” background stamp with “Pacific Point” ink. Layer them together and add a new “Basic Rhinestone Jewel Accents” in the center of the butterfly. I also added a few jewels to the card’s background layer.

The sentiment is from “Perfect Punches” stamp set. I inked it in “Rose Red” ink and then used a “Stampin’ Write Marker” to add the “Pacific Point” color to the word thanks. Next I used the “Scallop Oval Punch” layered over the “Wide Oval Punch”
I added a small strip of “Rose Red” that was shaped with the “Scallop Edge Border Punch” underneath the “Very Vanilla” background. The background layer of the card is called “Pacific Point”. It is a wonderful new blue color!

My Elegant Lines embossing folder is on backorder! In the meantime I think I'll order the beautiful butterflies die after seeing all you've done with it.
