Today I am using “card guts”. I’ve explained in previous posts how I often times have left-over pieces of pre-cut materials from classes and workshops. This easel card is from a workshop I demo’d a few weeks ago. All the pink pieces you see in the photo below are from “card guts”:

This is a photo of my daughter Jessica and my granddaughter Kaitlynn. What a great gift for Mother’s Day!

The “Easel Card” is a lot easier than it looks. You need 2 pieces of cardstock:
Fold in half with your Bone Folder and fold in half again on the other scored side. The larger side of the cardstock piece lays flat on your table while the other half bends upward into an upside-down “V”. Glue the second piece of cardstock to one portion of the upside-down “V” only. You can see placement in the first photo.
I used the Awash with Flowers stamp set for the flowers. I cut a total of (4) flowers, watercolored them with a Blender Pen and stacked (2) together to form a full flower. I also stamped 2 of the smaller flower. I added the “Sweet Stitches Designer Fabric Brads” to the center. Don’t forget that April 30th is the last day to order these fabric brads. Add a strip of 1 1/4″ Striped Grosgrain Ribbon in Basic Black for trim and glue the flowers on top with Stampin’ Dimensionals. I added Rhinestone Jewels to the smallest flowers for a little bit of bling!
