Hi Everyone. Guess what today is? It’s time for a new duo color challenge at Dynamic Duos this week. And take a quick peek at our new colors:

These 2 colors are so soft and subtle that my first thought was to create a “clean & simple” card so that the light colors would’t get lost. This is my card for you today:

I ended up stamping my focal image twice, first on my Whisper White Cardstock layer using Sahara sand Ink and a 2nd time using a scrap piece of Whisper White Cardstock and stamping with Pink Pirouette Ink. I fussy-cut the center portion only and layered it on the sahara sand layer with Stampin’ Dimensionals. I then added a Very Vintage Designer Button in the center with a sentiment from the Express Yourself stamp set cut out with the Word Window Punch:

I also mixed my own spritzer using Sahara Sand Ink (about 10 drops) with water in a Stampin’ Spritzer bottle and lightly sprayed the whisper white panel. This added little specks all over my card front. You may be able to see it better by clicking on one of the photos.
Stampin’ Up! supplies:
- Cardstock: Sahara Sand, Pink Pirouette, Whisper White
- Inks: Sahara Sand, Pink Pirouette
- Stamps: Beautifully Baroque, Express Yourself
- Accessories: Very Vintage Designer Button, White Baker’s Twine
- Tools: Stampin’ Spritzer, Word Window Punch, Stampin’ Dimensionals, Mini Glue Dots
