I was so happy to see the large stamp “Swallowtail” carry over into our new Stampin’ Up! catalog. I decided to use this stamp for a new duo challenge this week at Dynamic Duos. Here are the 2 colors we played with this week:

And here is how I used them with my “Swallowtail”:

It’s hard for me to show you on my photo’s but I embossed the butterfly. I first inked the image with VersaMark Ink and then inked it again with Soft Suede Ink. This keeps the ink wet so you can sprinkle Clear Embossing Powder and set with your Heat Tool. I then used a Sponge Dauber to add the Blushing Bride Ink:

You can see the shiny-ness of the embossing below:

I hope you plan on visiting the ladies from our design team and I do hope you also plan on playing along with us this week. We all would love to see what you can come up with using these 2 colors!

Wonderful card Debbie! I love that you clear embossed it. Gives it that added texture.

Debbie, I'm in love with the swallowtail butterfly stamp (I don't have it yet). You've used it beautifully here. I really love the embossing, perfect!
So beautiful! I haven't gotten this stamp yet, but it is at the top of my list. Beautiful card. I love the placement of the pearls 🙂
