I’m a little late posting a workshop I demo’d for Deb & friends last month. For those of you that are new to Stampin’ Up!, I either go to the hostess’s home, my home, or any place that the hostess arranges for us to meet. I demo 2 cards and then all the attendees create the 3rd card and get to take it home with them. Then everyone gets to shop! We usually have a good time.
This is the first card I demo’d:

I showed the girls how to create a refection with a sentiment. The stamped flowers are from the now gone Sale-A-Bration stamp set called Bloomin’ Marvelous. I hand-cut 2 of the flowers and secured them using Stampin’ Dimensionals:

Card Supplies:
- Cardstock: Very Vanilla, Midnight Muse
- Inks: Calyso Coral, Baja Breeze, Chocolate Chip Stampin’ Write Marker
- Stamps: Bloomin’ Marvelous, Word Play
- DSP: In Color Paper Stack
- Accessories: Baker’s Twine, Pearl Jewels
- Tools: Corner Rounder Punch, Stampin’ Dimensionals
Card #2 focused on simple layers:

I love to play with Stampin’ Up! tools and coordinating products. I used the Beautiful Butterflies Die to cut 2 butterflies and layered them over a double layer of Tea Lace Paper Doilies. The remainder of the products I used are listed below:

Card Supplies:
- Cardstock: Lucky Limeade, Pool Party, Whisper White, Early Espresso C’ordinations
- Inks: Pool Party, Early Espresso, Lucky Limeade
- Accessories: Tea Lace Paper Doilies, Soda Pop Tops
- Stamps: Collage Curios, Memorable Moments
- Tools: Big Shot Machine, Bitty Banners Framelits Dies, Beautiful Butterflies Die, Sanding Block, Mini Glue Dots, 1″ Circle Punch, 3/4″ Circle Punch, Stampin’ Dimensionals
And finally, for the last card, all the girls created one just like it and got to take it home:

We used the “Emboss Resist Technique” on this card front. We stamped the butterfly from a large single stamp called Swallowtail using VersaMark Ink and sprinkling White Embossing Powder:

Once the butterfly was set with the Heat Tool, we swirled some inks using a Sponge Dauber in a circular motion. We even colored the 5/8″ Flower Trim!
Stampin’ Up! Supplies:
- Cardstock: Wisteria Wonder, Whisper White
- Inks: VersaMark, Wisteria Wonder, Pretty In Pink
- Accessories: 5/8″ Flower Trim
- Tools: Ticket Punch, Sponge Daubers, White Embossing Powder, Stampin’ Dimensionals, Heat Tool
- Stamps: Swallowtail, Blooming with Kindness

Gorgeous examples for a card class. The second one would have to be my favourite of the three.
That one is my favorite also Bronwyn. Thanks for visiting!
Gorgeous cards!
