Last night was workshop night at my place! Deb invited some friends over, 13 of them (Hi Girls). I demo’d two cards and they got to create the third one to take home with them. This was a record workshop for me being the highest in sales in my 5 years of being a demonstrator. Thanks so much to all the girls that attended!
Here is the first card I demo’d:

Love the color combination I used on this one. My handy Color Coach helped me pick! I used the 2 new tag punches available for purchase in the Occasions Catalog. These are so wonderful to use. I have more projects coming up soon also using these punches. The first one is cut with Baked Brown Sugar Cardstock and the Angled Tag Topper Punch. The 2nd one is cut with Strawberry Slush Cardstock and the Scalloped Tag Topper Punch. I rounded the corners on the bottoms of both tags using the Envelope Punch Board. Here are all the supplies I used:
- Cardstock: Baked Brown Sugar, Whisper White, Strawberry Slush
- DSP: Eastern Elegance
- Inks: Strawberry Slush
- Accessories: Baked Brown Sugar and Strawberry Slush Ruffle Stretch Ribbon, Tea Lace Doilies
- Stamps: Petite Petals, See Ya Later
- Tools: Angled Tag Topper Punch, Scalloped Tag Topper Punch, Decorative Label Punch, Petite Petals Punch, Stampin’ Dimensionals, Envelope Punch Board
Card #2:

More new tools to play with. I wanted to focus on the Hexagon Hive Framelits Die and how versatile it is layered with any type of patterned paper on the underside:

I again used the Petite Petals Stamp Set but layered some of the flowers over larger flowers from the Flower Shop stamp set. The Hexagon Hive Framelits shape was embossed using the Beautifully Baroque Embossing Folder and glued in place using Stampin’ Dimensionals. This is a fun card to create!
Card Supplies:
- Cardstock: Real Red, Basic Black, Very Vanilla
- Inks: Real Red
- Accessories: Candy Dots
- Stamps: Petite Petals, Flower Shop, Another Great Year
- Tools: Big Shot Machine, Petite Petals Punch, Pansy Punch, Stampin’ Dimensionals, Hexagon Hive Framelits Die, Beautifully Baroque Embossing Folder, Banners Framelits Dies
- DSP: Modern Medly
And the final card that was created by all the attendees:

Isn’t this a colorful card? I used the colors in the Epic Day Designer Paper and coordinated all the elements:

- Inks: Daffodil Delight, Gumball Green, Pool Party
- Cardstock: Crumb Cake, Whisper White, Calypso Coral, Gumball Green
- Accessories: Gold Sequins
- DSP: Epic Day
- Tools: Big Shot Machine, Secret Garden Framelits Dies, On Film Framelits Dies, Stampin’ Dimensionals
- Stamps: Simple Stems, Happy Watercolor
Thanks for stopping by to visit!
