Welcome to a Saturday Blog Hop at Create with Connie & Mary. Our theme this week is masculine cards and I am having so much fun using the Beautiful World Suite. I’ve used the following new products that you can now order as our Annual Catalog went live on June 3rd:
- Beautiful World Stamp Set
- World Map Dies
- World of Good Designer Paper
You can see how pretty the designer paper is as some of the sheets include travel patterns with brass accents. The sheet I used today for my background layer is my favorite. Notice how I used white globe die-cuts for a white-on-white background for my center layer? I then added lots of layers with the die-cut and stamped shapes:
Card Recipe:

Card Base: Misty Moonlight Cardstock 11″ x 4-1/4″. Score and fold at 5-1/2″.
- Layer #2: World Of Good Designer Paper 5-1/4″ x 4″. Glue to card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Layer #3: Using a scrap piece of Whisper White Cardstock, fill with Whisper White globes cut with the dies. Cut with the Stitched Rectangle Dies that measure 4″ x 2-5/8″. Glue to card front centered.
- Globes: Cut the two globe bases using Brass Foil Sheets and glue to the rectangle layer. Stamp the two globe images with Misty Moonlight Ink and Soft Suede Ink. Color using the inked lines and an Aqua Painter. Glue in place on the globe bases.
- Compass: Hand-cut the small compass from the designer paper and glue to card front using Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Ink Pen: Stamp the feather image on Whisper White Cardstock using Misty Moonlight Ink and the ink well using Soft Soft Ink. Cut both with the dies and glue using Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Sentiment: Stamp the sentiment on Whisper White Cardstock using Soft Suede Ink. Cut close to the lettering and glue to card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
