Welcome to a Saturday Blog Hop at Create with Connie & Mary. Today’s theme is using a “Motivational Greeting” on our projects. I had a really hard time with this one and decided to use a greeting from the Colorful Seasons stamp set. I am so glad that this bundle carried over to the upcoming Annual Catalog!

I surrounded the greeting with some stamped branches and then added some die-cuts to create a pretty little scenery. I just love the die-cut lawn chair don’t you?

Card Recipe:
- Card Base: 11″ x 4-1/4″. Score and fold at 5-1/2″.
- Layer #2: Fresh Florals Designer Paper 5-1/4″ x 4″. Glue to card base.
- Layer #3: 4-1/2″ x 3-1/2″. Emboss using the Hexagons Embossing Folder. Glue to card front.
- Layer #4: Whisper White Cardstock 4″ x 3″. Stamp the sentiment using Basic Black Ink. Using a Sponge Dauber and Pool Party Ink, Sponge over the sentiment. Stamp the branch image using Soft Suede Ink on both sides of the sentiment. Set aside.
- Grass: Cut (2) strips of grass using Lemon Lime Twist and the Picnic Basket Builder Dies. Glue to the bottom of Layer #4 and trim to fit.
- Chair: Cut one chair using Crumb Cake Cardstock and glue over the grass.
- Flowers: Stamp the flower images on Blushing Bride Cardstock using Flirty Flamingo Ink. Cut with the dies and glue in place.
- Glue Layer #4 to card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
