Good morning blog readers! You need to make sure to visit Create with Connie & Mary today. We have a preview of our mini edition “Card Creations for all Occasions” with Mary Brown today and she is giving away blog candy on her blog. You will also get a free download of her projects.
Today I am showing you a card I created with the stamp set “By The Tide”. This is the stamp set I will be featuring for Week 3 of our mini subscription:

What drew me to this stamp set was the lobster image. I LOVE to eat lobster and lobster is a big industry here in our beautiful state of Maine. During the summer months you will find areas in our state that offer scenic lobster boat tours, lobster bakes, and even week long lobster festivals.
I stamped the verse using “River Rock Ink” here and there on “Watercolor Paper” and then stamped the lobster image using “Tangerine Tango Ink”. I then grabbed my “Blender Pen” and dipped the it the “River Rock Ink” and lightly floated some of the ink on the outside of the image and in doing so, grabbed some of the “Tangerine Tango Ink” from the lobster image. I also colored the inside of the lobster:

Please make sure to stop by Create with Connie & Mary to sign up for our mini subscription and to see what Mary is up to! Once preview week is over-with, you will have the chance to view one designer per day with one stamp set per day for 3 whole weeks and we will feature 4 different cards with that one stamp set. We will also include a supply list and measurements so you can create these for yourself. On Saturday’s we will all be featuring a 3D item with the stamp set we used for that week. Sounds exciting doesn’t it? Thanks so much for stopping by today!

Sadly I cannot eat shell fish but you did a great job creating this guy – lobster was my mom's very favorite 'treat'….TFS~!
I would go crazy if I couldn't eat any type of fish Carol. Seafood is my hubby and I's favorite!
