Good Morning Everyone! I am having so much fun creating projects with the new products that you’ll be able to order on June 1st. Today I am participating with the Create with Connie & Mary Challenge. When I moved to the Saturday Blog Hop team for Create with Connie & Mary, I really missed creating for the Thursday Challenges. I am now trying to make time to participate with the girls!
So this is the sketch challenge for this week:
And I’m using all new products for my Sneak Peek:
I have some new colors, new papers and a new stamp set to show you. And I added some Clear Wink Of Stella to the wings of my bees:
Can you spot the 2 new In-Colors I used? How gorgeous are all of these colors! Today I used Sweet Sugarplum and Peekaboo Peach to coordinate with the colors in the Playful Palette Designer Paper Stack. The bees and sentiment are from the Pun Intended stamp set. I hand-cut the bees and colored the wings!
Card Recipe:
- Card Base: Flirty Flamingo 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″. Score and fold in the center at 4-1/4″.
- Layer #2: Peekaboo Peach 4″ x 5-1/4″. Glue to card base.
- Layer #3: Playful Palette Designer Paper Stack 3″ x 3-3/4″.
- Layer #4: Very Vanilla 1″ x 3-3/4″. Glue to the underside of Layer #3 using Stampin’ Dimesionals and glue to card front adding more dimensionals to the back of the designer paper.
- Sentiment: Cut the banners using the new Duet Banner Punch. Stamp the sentiment using Flirty Flamingo Ink on the smallest banner and layer over the 2nd banner using Stampin’ Dimensionals. Glue to card front.
- Bees: Stamp 2 bees, one with Flirty Flamingo and one with Peekaboo Peach Inks. Hand-cut. Color the wings using Clear Wink Of Stella. Glue the bees to card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
