Good Evening Stampers! You are in for a treat tonight! I know you are used to seeing me post early in the a.m. but today is the 19th of the month and guess what…….it’s Control Freaks “Tour De Freaks” blog hop time!

If you’ve just come from visiting Justin Krieger’s blog, were you amazed at his wonderful projects? I think his work is awesome! Our theme for this month is “Mish-Mash” or as Wendy says “whatEVER tickles ya!! Here are my three projects for this month:

I decided to go with a spring theme using bright & vibrant colors. We have lots of snow here in Maine and I am so ready for spring! We had to hire someone to shovel our roofs off this week and ended up with almost 3 feet of snow in some places!
Here is card #1:

I stamped the flowers using Wild Wasabi, Real Red and Tangerine Tango Inks. I hand-cut all of them using my Paper Snips. I also cut a doily in half and layered the two halves on top of each other. The banner is cut using the Banners Framelits Dies:

Card Supplies:
- Cardstock: Pacific Point, Daffodil Delight, Whisper White
- Inks: Pacific Point, Wild Wasabi, Real Red, Tangerine Tango
- DSP: Watercolor Wonder
- Accessories: Large Pearl Basic Jewels, Silver Mini Brads, Tea Lace Doily
- Tools: Big Shot Machine, Woodgrain Embossing Folder, Banners Framelits Dies, Stampin’ Dimensionals
- Stamps: Simple Stems, People Like You
Card #2:

I decided to stick with the same color combination for my 2nd card but used a different stamp set. The stamp set is called People Like You:

- Cardstock: Pacific Point, Watercolor Paper
- DSP: Quatrafancy
- Inks: Real Red, Daffodil Delight, Tangerine Tango, Wild Wasabi, Pacific Point, StazOn Jet Black
- Stamps: People Like You
- Accessories: 1/8″ Real Red Taffeta Ribbon, Rhinestone Jewels
- Tools: Decorative Label Punch, Scallop Border Punch, Decorative Label Punch, Stampin’ Dimensionals, Blender Pen
And my final project:

All I did was wash out the tuna fish can VERY WELL so it wasn’t stinky and then added a row of designer paper around the whole can that was trimmed at the top with our Fringe Scissors to resemble grass. I clipped the clothespins around the whole can side-by-side. I then tied a Crushed Curry Chevron Ribbon around the clothespins. The flowers and doily were made exactly like I used on Project 1!
Okay, now its off to visit Dawn Olchefske’s blog. She always has great projects to show you and so much inspiration! Thanks for stopping by today and make sure you visit the whole line of designers for our blog hop!

As soon as I saw your projects, I thought "someone is ready for Spring!" and looked to see if you were in the upper Midwest or northeast. Love, love, love the bright colors!
Your creativity never ceases to amaze me….and I know I say that often….but soooo true! Your choice of vibrant colors and the beautiful flowers are so fabulous…and then you add the incredible candle holder….loving them all!!!!!!!!
WOW! I love your cards but that candle holder is so great! What a clever idea! I'm so ready for spring too and your projects definitely make me think it's on it's way! ๐
DARN! Wouldn't it figure I just threw out a bunch of old weathered clothespins because I didn't like how they lost their light brown wood color? Guess I'll just have to weather some more so I can make this adorable candle holder! ๐
WoW Deb these are beautiful! Definitely ready for spring!
