Color Fusers August Blog Hop! - Debbie Henderson, Stampin' Up! Demonstrator

It’s our August Color Fusers Blog Hop today! And all of the Stampin’ Up! colors we are using are brand new. It was so much fun to pair these colors together for my card below:

I used the Pop Of Petals and Varied Vases stamp sets for my card. The Four-Petal Punch makes it so easy to stamp and punch all of the flowers. I double-layered all four of the flowers with Stampin’ Dimensionals and added a Metallic Pearl in the center of each.

The leaves that I tucked under each flower are actually a 2nd flower image that I stamped and cut out with the punch. I then split each flower into single petals with my Paper Snips and glued them all in place, tucked under each flower.

Here is a listing of my card layers:

Card Base: Call Me Clover Cardstock 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″. Score and fold at 4-1/4″.
Layer #2: Whisper White Cardstock 5-1/8″ x 3-7/8″. Glue to card base.
Layer #3: Call Me Clover Cardstock 5″ x 3-3/4″. Stamp the branch image repeatedly in the background using Call Me Clover Ink. Glue to card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Flowers: Stamp the flower image twice with Gorgeous Grape, Pineapple Punch, Mango Melody and Lovely Lipstick Inks on Whisper White Cardstock. Cut each flower using the Four-Petals Punch. Layer each flower to make them double using Stampin’ Dimensionals. Glue to card front. Add a silver Metallic Pearl to the center of each flower.
Leaves: Stamp the flower image used for the leaves twice on White Cardstock. Cut out with the punch and cut off individual petals with Paper Snips. Add adhesive and tuck under the flowers. Press in place.
Sentiment: Stamp the sentiment from the Varied Vases stamp set using Call Me Clover Ink on a piece of Whisper White Cardstock measuring 4-1/2″ x 1/2″. Score each end at 1″ and 1-1/4″. Snip each end into a banner. Fold back on the score lines to create the banner and glue to card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
