Delightful Decorations is one of my favorite holiday stamp sets. It’s so easy to stamp an ornament and cut the shape out with the Ornament Punch. A few weeks ago when I hosted a Stamp Camp in my home, the girls were creating a card with two ornaments on it similar to this one and when I gave them the instructions, one of my customers hooted at the thought of using a punch for this stamp image. She thought they had to hand-cut all of them!
Card Recipe:
- Layer #1: Very Vanilla cardstock. Shape the bottom with the Scallop Edge Border Punch.
- Layer #2: Jolly Holiday Designer Series Paper.
- Layer #3: Very Vanilla cardstock embossed with the Big Shot and the Vintage Wallpaper Impressions Folder.
- Layer #4: Ornaments inked in Old Olive and Rose Red Ink and punched out with the Ornament Punch. Ornaments sprayed with Shimmer Mist made from Shimmer Paint. Add a Rhinestone Brad in the center of one ornament. Adhere with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Sentiment: Inked in Old Olive on Very Vanilla cardstock and punched out with the Decorative Label Punch and layered with Rose Red and the Decorative Label Punch.

My Information:
Beautiful card – I'm just confused how you layered the sentiment on Very Vanilla on top of the Rose Red if you used the same punch for both? Wouldn't they both be the same size? If so, how did you create that nice layer?
BTW, love your blog and the "card recipes? you provide!
