One of the new colors that has been added since the “Color Renovation” is “River Rock”. I wasn’t so sure about this color when I first purchased it and now that I’ve used it on a few cards, it is growing on me. The inspiration for this card comes from Nichole Heady.
I still must admit to you that the Big Shot is a must have when it comes to creating cards. I used it to cut my Top Note shape, to emboss my background with the Square Lattice Impressions Folder and even to emboss that very little snippet of cardstock adhered to the bottom of the Top Note. If you don’t own a Big Shot, you most assuredly don’t know what you are missing! Make sure you visit my blog on the November 1st post HERE as I have a discounted price on the Big Shot for a short time only.
Even though I hung a tiny heart from the bird’s string, you could substitute with a snowflake, a star, an ornament…….the possibilities are endless!
Thanks for visiting. I hope to see you again tomorrow!
