I am so addicted to all of Stampin’ Up!’s Textured Impressions Folders. What an easy way to create backgrounds that not only look good…………but feel good. All you do is load them in your Big Shot, run ’em through and it’s there……all ready for incorporating in your projects. I even made some of these pre-made backgrounds in packets to sell at my craft fair at the end of the month. Okay, now to my card…… Not only am I getting ready for a craft fair, I am also creating Christmas cards for my sister-in-law’s floral shop. This is one of those cards that qualify for the quick and easy. Start out with Chocolate Chip cardstock for the background layer. Layer a Real Red cardstock about halfway that has been embossed with the Petals-A-Plenty Impressions Folder. Stamp the sentiment from Snow Swirled stamp set onto Whisper White cardstock. Cut and fit to the remaing half of your background. Add a one inch strip of Designer Paper on top of both layers, I used Chocolate Chip and positioned the strip slightly off center. Stamp the snowflake from the Snow Swirled stamp set with Real Red ink. Use your 1 1/4″ Circle Punch to punch the image out, followed by the 1 3/8″ Circle Punch layer in Chocolate Chip cardstock. Adhere your two layers for the snowflake to a Stampin’ Dimensional and add to a third layer of Real Red cardstock punched out with our Scallop Circle punch.

I would never have thought to put brown and red together until I entered the stamping world. I love how they look together – very rich looking – the embossing is such a great effect! Classy card!
