I have a cute story to tell you about that pertains to my project for today. A few Sunday’s ago, Dave and I were sitting in our socially-distance pew at church and as we stood up for the gospel, a lady sitting two socially-distanced pews ahead of us caught my eye. It was the shirt that she was wearing that caught my eye along with the patterns and colors. See what I mean?

This is not something I would wear because I don’t like to wear patterns but it was rather interesting. So I dug out my iPhone, and yes, I did have my sound turned off but because we are not allowed the use of missals in the church, again due to social distancing, COVID-19 and not touching anything that someone else my have touched, I have our readings and gospels saved to my email so I use my phone to follow along. So you guess it, I snapped a photo of her shirt! Yes I did!
Do you find yourself while out in public, being caught off-guard by a pattern or something that just catches your eye and it’s automatic inspiration for a future project? I even call a color of something in particular that I notice, by the Stampin’ Up! color names. My hubby Dave even knows what I’m talking about when I utter the color name out loud!
Anyway, that’s my fun story for today and here’s the project that was born
using the shirt from the lady at church. I used four of the five new In Colors:

You can see how neat the strips of Whisper White Cardstock look when glued in place with Stampin’ Dimensionals for height and cut at an angle to form each chevron. I used an assortment of bold stamp images from different stamp sets to add the ink color:

This was another one of my classes that I did for my Stamp With Me Classes on Facebook. I know some of you are not on Facebook and would love to take part in my free classes. I am actually hosting #29 this afternoon. I do plan to load these classes to YouTube at some point. With being the caretaker for my husband, I have not had any free time to do this yet. Be patient and you’ll hopefully start seeing me add them to YouTube very soon. I’ll let you know when that happens!
Will you be placing an order today? If so, please use the monthly hostess code when prompted at checkout to earn free products from me. If your order is $150 of more, no need to add the code so you can earn your own hostess rewards! Thank you so much for supporting a small business owner!

Yay for you, Debbie, for taking advantage of the moment by snapping that picture! I'm sure God understands. 😉
Cute story. We have to find inspiration wherever we can. I think the design looks better on your card than her shirt.
What a cute story! You never know where inspiration comes from, and there's not a better place than church for inspiration, of all kinds. Maybe you should make another card and give it to her, and tell her the story. I bet she would love that. Great card, so pretty! TFS
Fun!
