Happy Labor Day! I hope you are enjoying your long weekend. My son Greg and his girlfriend Crickett arrived a few days ago and they are headed back home today. Rewind to March 2020 when they left to attempt the Appalachian Trail system from Georgia to Maine which takes about six months to complete. They had to abandon their dream bucket list two weeks in, when COVID-19 hit us.
A lot of people don’t understand why they had to cut their dream short. When hiking the AT, hikers need to be able to restock their food supplies as they cross different towns. With most of our country being shut down, they had no place to stock up on food and essentials so had to rent a car and return home. On Wednesday of this week, they will be gone for about 30 days to attempt the Long Trail System which is pretty much hiking the length of the state of Vermont. They will attempt the AT again in March 2021. So it was nice to spend a few days with them before they leave for a month.
Anyway, it was great having them here for a few days. I haven’t been able to work on any new projects in the meantime, but had my Easel Chalkboard Cards that I had not posted on my blog yet:

I created this card using the Chalkboard Technique during one of
my most current Afternoon Tea Time & a Card Classes on Facebook.

Everyone fell in love with the Metallic Mesh Ribbon when I used it.
It’s so easy to miss this new ribbon in our Mini Catalog.

You can see how I “dirtied” up the white ink
to make it look like a real chalkboard!

Will you be placing an order today? If so, please use the monthly hostess code when prompted at checkout to earn free products from me. If your order is $150 of more, no need to add the code so you can earn your own hostess rewards! Thank you so much for supporting a small business owner!

Thanks so much, Debbie, for the great instructional video. Would you believe that I'd never made a Chalkboard Easel Card before? I needed a 'prop' for my talk at church today and I remembered seeing these gorgeous cards of yours – just perfect for what I had in mind.
Absolutely amazing Debbie. Belly tickles to Ruger. XX Mal, Melbourne, Australia
