Welcome to a Saturday Blog Hop at Create with Connie & Mary. I hope you had an enjoyable New Year this week and also enjoying the two new Stampin’ Up! catalogs that went live yesterday. I love being able to show you some new products. The theme for our blog hop this week is “encourage”. This time of year is always such a tough time for most people. It’s winter, it’s cold, people are sick and I felt that this card was perfect to encourage them into thinking what a blessing they may be to us:

I paired the Beautiful Moments stamp set with the Stitched Lace Dies from the Annual Catalog. I haven’t had a chance to use this die very much and I love how intricate the cutting pattern is and it looks fabulous in Purple Posy Cardstock layered over Purple Posy Cardstock. I also loved being able to stamp the image with Tuxedo Black Memento Ink and coloring with my Stampin’ Blends Markers:

Card Recipe:
- Card Base: Purple Posy Cardstock 11″ x 4-1/4″. Score and fold at 5-1/2″
- Layer #2: Purple Posy Cardstock 5-1/4″ x 4″. Cut with the Stitched Lace Dies. Use the 2nd die to cut the fancy bottom. Glue to card base.
- Ribbon: Wrap the Whisper White Crinkled Seam Binding Ribbon around the card front and tie into a bow on the left side.
- Layer #3: Whisper White Cardstock cut with the Rectangle Stitched Dies #2. Stamp the sentiment at the top using Tuxedo Black Memento Ink. Stamp the image below the sentiment and color with the Stampin’ Blends Markers. Glue layer to card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
