Hi Everyone, so glad you stopped in today! We have a new sketch challenge at Create with Connie & Mary today. What to do with all those little pieces….hmmm….

My Card:

Thank goodness our designer paper is two-sided patterned. All I did was cut a strip 2″ x 5 1/2″ and sliced two angles through it. I then flipped the middle piece over to the other side and viola, I had my 3 panels! I added a strip of ribbon on one side to give the card a little more color and a stamped border on the other side using the Boutique Borders stamp set.

The sentiment is from the Tag Talk stamp set inked in Lost Lagoon Ink and cut out with the Label Bracket Punch. I layered it over a scallop cut with the 2 3/8″ Scallop Circle Punch! Visit the girls on our design team today for our sketch challenge. It’s always neat how everyone comes up with different ideas stemming from the same challenge!

Thanks for stopping by to visit!

I would like to attend a class. Is your Aug. 1st class for adults?
Love that scallop stamp! That is a great way to add a little border! Great CAS card!!
Smart and thrifty way to use dsp. When I first looked at the 2×5 1/2 piece I figured you had placed the angled smaller piece over the rectangular 2×5 1/2 piece. And I missed the stamped border the first couple of times I looked it over. Very pretty!
What a great way to use the designer paper and I love how you used the scallop circle as your layer. Lots of nice touches on your card!
Loving the colors and layering on your card!
Thrifty use of the DSP! I like how you layered your greeting…really pops on that yellow!
Wonderful card!! I love the scalloped edge stamped on the side!
Great card Debbie. I really like your sentiment stamp and the addition of the bow for your card. TFS.
Love the scallop stamp along the edge – great subtle space filler! I really like the simple line of ribbon, too!
