Good morning! With spring finally in the air here, how appropriate to find these new colors this week for our color challenge at Create with Connie & Mary:

Please be patient with me on some of my photo’s. I purchased a light box and am experimenting with it. My background is supposed to be white but looks blue in this photo:

Do you like my orange rhinestones? I colored them with an orange Permanent marker. This colors the rhinestones so nice and doesn’t wipe off. I usually let them dry for about a minute before I handle them. I sponged my Whisper White Cardstock piece by adding Tangerine Tango on one half of the card diagonally and then adding Daffodil Delight on the opposite end. If you start in the corner and work your way up, the sponging lightens up. I kept adding ink from the corner and upwards to achieve the dark to light shades:

Card Supplies:
- Stamps: My Friend, Blessings From Heaven
- Inks: Tangerine Tango, Daffodil Delight, Gumball Green
- Cardstock: Whisper White, Garden Green, Tangerine Tango
- Tools: Sticky Strip, Sponges
- Accessories: Rhinestone Jewels, Gumball Green 3/8″ Stitched Satin Ribbon
- Misc: Orange Permanent Marker

So very pretty! I love the sponging! What a beautiful effect! And the orange rhinestones really sparkle!
This image is very peaceful Debbie, what a beautiful, serene looking card. Sympathy cards are so hard to make but this one is colorful but yet, still very appropriate. Your sponging is fantastic and the pretty little Rhinestones add just the right amount of bling. BTW, love the blue background, even if you said it should be white. It's kind of a periwinkle blue, very lovely.
Gorgeous card Debbie!! This is one of the most beautiful sympathy cards I've seen! The sponging is just gorgeous!
Wonderful card for a sympathy card. Love the way you did the sponging. Looks like a peaceful sunset.
Beautiful card! The sponging takes it up a whole notch!
Lovely design and very pretty colors!!!
You created such a soft background even though the colors are so vibrant. I love the artsy look of your card. It is just beautiful.
The sponging on this card is amazing – it really sets off the bold green of the stamping, just gorgeous.
Very pretty…I actually thought the background was the DSP in Watercolor Wonder! Good luck with the lightbox, I finally gave up on mine! Great job with the color challenge this week.
Oohhh! I love your sponging! You had me fooled – I thought it was the Watercolor Wonder DSP! Just lovely!
