Hi Everyone! Today is Thursday and that means a brand new challenge at Create with Connie & Mary! Sketch Challenges are always my favorite and this one was really neat to play with:

I decided to go masculine this week with my card:

I added various images from multiple stamp sets on this one and dirtied it up a little. I started with the embossing on the card base using the Arrows Embossing Folder on Crumb Cake Cardstock. I then added a strip of Whisper White Taffeta Ribbon diagonal around the card base.
I added two layers of cardstock using the Deco Labels Framelits Dies for the conglomeration of layers using Bermuda Bay and Whisper White Cardstocks. I glued the banners on the cardstock first before I cut it so that the banners would carry the shape of the framelit:

I have some stamping from the Peachy Keen and the Off The Grid Stamp Sets in Early Espresso Ink. I also used the ink with a Blender Pen to add some dirtiness to it here and there.
The Naturals Button and Candy dots work well to keep this card masculine but also adding a little bit of bling at the same time:

Make sure you visit Create with Connie & Mary to see lots more inspiration this week. Here is a listing of all my Stampin’ Up! supplies:

What a fun masculine card! Love what you did with the framelits and punches! The grid stamp looks great, too!
LOL! Debbie, we seem to use the same sets for these challenges a lot! Great minds think alike! I like your color combo and the wood button gives a great masculine feel. Very nice!
Wonderful…we all so need masculine card designs. This is really great – at first glance I saw a bit of a tuxedo…love the bits of grid along the signs…wonderful….!
What a super masculine card! Great choice of elements and colors to bring it all together!
I love how you used the Deco Label for the focal point – adds a unique touch of visual interest!
Fantastic card! You are so creative…using the Deco Labels as the focal point looks really cool!
