I absolutely love the colors in the “Color Challenge” located on the blog “Create with Connie and Mary”. Basic Black, Daffodil Delight, Bashful Blue, Pacific Point and Wild Wasabi. Wild Wasabi is quickly becoming one of my favorites. Scroll below to view the card I created for today.

Now let’s move on to the details. How about the “Satin Ribbon” treatment? Easy…….yes…….I added a piece of “Sticky Strip” along my rectangle and all I did was gather the ribbon one segment at a time and pushed it into the “Sticky Strip”. Make as ruffly as you want.
The leaves……I used “Pacific Point”, “Wild Wasabi” and “Daffodil Delight” inks along with the stamp set “Falling Leaves” and added the images to half of my circle, thinking ahead that I would be glueing a sentiment on the other half. I then inked up three more leaves, stamped on “Whisper White” cardstock and hand-cut all of them with my “Paper Snips”. Notice how I left a little bit of white around the edges as I cut? I then adhered all three with “Stampin’ Dimensionls” to give them a little “pop”. The final “wow” was to add a few “Jewel Pearls” to some of the leaves.
The last part of my card is the sentiment. I stamped it with “Basic Black” ink and used the “Large Oval Punch” for it’s shape. I added a “Modern Label Punch” shape layer behind the oval using “Wild Wasabi” cardstock. I also added a few “Stampin’ Dimensionals” on the sentiment piece to also give it some height and one solo pearl.
