I’m breaking out a new stamp set today for our new color challenge at Create with Connie & Mary. for our last Saturday of our Summer Collection.
Here are the colors that we received to play with:
This is one of the first stamp sets I purchased when the new catalog debuted on June 1st and I had not inked it yet. The images are beautiful:
I wanted to make the bird look like it was coming in for a safe landing:
I used the Sahara Sand Ink first for the bird, inked the stamp, stamped on a piece of scrap paper and then stamped the “motion” repeatedly without reinking. I then added the bird over the motion using Lost Lagoon Ink. For my branches I colored the flowers as blueberries as it is blueberry season here in Maine. My blueberries are almost ready for picking!
