We are well underway with the Summer Edition of Create with Connie & Mary. I’ve had a blast and today is no different. Just take a peek at the color’s we are using today for the Saturday Challenge:

The stamp set “Strength & Hope” is available for purchase in the new “Summer Mini Catalog”. Even though this set is being sold as a fundraiser for Breast Cancer, the images are so versatile and can be used
to create cards of any sorts. The butterfly’s in this set are so elegant and fancy, I love stamping them and cutting them out using my Paper Snips:

And don’t the Pearl Jewels add just the right bling? It’s so easy to add a little “strip” of them when the strips are all there for you to just peel and stick! I used the Scallop Oval Die for the background and cut 2. One in Pacific Point Cardstock and the other in Very Vanilla Cardstock. I love that this die cuts in two pieces so you can mix up the colors. I embossed the outer piece with the Petals-A-Plenty Textured Impressions Folder. And to finish off my card, of course ribbon!
Card Supplies:
- Cardstock: Wild Wasabi, Pacific Point, Very Vanilla
- Stamp Set: Strength & Hope
- Tools: Big Shot Machine, Scallop Oval Die, Petals-A-Plenty Textured Impressions Folder, Stampin’ Dimensionals

I would love to see what you can come up with using this color combination. These 3 colors are vibrant and can make anyone smile! Have a great day and thanks for subscribing to the Summer Edition of Create with Connie & Mary! You can still get in on the fun!
