I have a kid-friendly peek-a-boo card for you today at Create with Connie & Mary Saturday Challenge!
Four colors for you to play with today:
My project for this week during our New Catalog Subscription Edition was using the “Blast Off Stamp Set”. I am using the same stamp set but added the matching Jumbo Wheel called “Outer Space” to the mix:
I first stamped my space ship in Basic Gray Ink on Whisper White Cardstock and then cut out the stamped image using the largest of the Apothecary Accents Framelits. I cut off the left-hand side flat so that I could slide my 1 1/4″ Circle Punch to cut a window in my space ship. I then stamped more images from the stamp set on my cardstock panel in Pool Party Ink, Riding Hood Red Ink and So Saffron Ink. I stamped the space ship a 2nd time on a separate piece of Whisper White Cardstock using Riding Hood Red Ink and cut out the rectangle from the space ship. I added Stampin’ Dimensionals to make it pop over the gray image when I glued it in place.
For the inside of the card of the card, I added a Whisper White Cardstock panel and made a small pencil mark where the center of hole is positioned when the card is closed. I then stamped the alien using Pool Party Ink using the pencil mark as my guide:
Create an array of suns, moons and stars by using the Outer Space Jumbo Wheel and Whisper White Craft Ink. Sprinkle with White Embossing Powder and heat set with a Heat Tool. I cut out some small circles using the circle punch from the Punch Pack and Silver Glimmer paper. I also stamped a 2 stamp images in Pool Party and So Saffron Inks and cut them out using the 3/4″ and 1″ Circle Punches. I then inked the circles with VersaMark Ink and sprinkled Clear Embossing Powder. Heat set with Heat tool and glue in place using Stampin’ Dimensionals…..love that shine!
Add a sentiment inked in Pool Party Ink and cut with the Modern Label Punch. Glue in place with Stampin’ Dimensionals!
