Good morning blog readers and Create with Connie & Mary subscribers. I’m so lucky you stopped in today. We’ve got 4 colors for you during our Saturday Challenge for our subscribers. I was so happy when Stampin’ Up! came out with the new “Core’dinations Cardstock”. You emboss it, sand it and….voila, a peek of lighter color appears!
And take a peek at the lid on my canning jar…I’ve added a brad so the lid flips up and down!
The canning jar is stamped twice, once on Whisper White Cardstock and a 2nd time on Vellum Cardstock. Using the Whisper White Cardstock layer, I very very lightly touched the tip of the ink with a Blender Pen and added some shading by dragging the color around the edges:

This sanded embossed look adds just enough texture & style to the card! What a fabulous idea to add the moveable jar lid, too!
