CCMC-216!

August 30, 2012 11 Comments

Wow, can you believe August is on the way out already? Where has the summer gone? And what better way to finish up the month by joining us this week at Create with Connie & Mary for a color challenge:

I decided to create a matching set for you this week:

If you’ve received our new Holiday Mini Catalog, Stampin’ Up has really outdone themselves this year with the “Ghoulish Googlies Designer Kit”. Everything in this kit coordinates with the “Googly Ghouls Stamp Set” to create treat bags for little goblins! My secret Create word is Edition by the way!

Lets start with the card:

Card Supplies:

  • Cardstock: Lucky Limeade, Rich Razzleberry, Night of Navy, Whisper White
  • Inks: Jet Black StazOn
  • Stamps: Googly Ghouls
  • Kit: Ghoulish Googlies Designer Kit
  • Tools: Big Shot Machine, Labels Collection Framelits, Small Oval Punch, 2 3/8″ Scallop Circle Punch, Lacy Brocade Textured Impressions Folder, Sponge Dauber, Merry Minis Punch Pack, Stampin’ Dimensionals
  • Accessories: Lucky Limeade 3/8″ Ruffled Ribbon, Rhinestone Jewels

The photo below shows how I partially inked the embossing using a Sponge Dauber and StazOn Jet Black Ink:

And my little goodie bag:

Baggie Supplies:

  • Cardstock: Lucky Limeade, Rich Razzleberry, Night of Navy, Whisper White
  • Inks: Jet Black StazOn
  • Stamps: Googly Ghouls
  • Kit: Ghoulish Googlies Designer Kit
  • Tools: Big Shot Machine, Labels Collection Framelits, 2 3/8″ Scallop Circle Punch, Modern Label Punch
  • Accessories: Lucky Limeade 3/8″ Ruffled Ribbon, Rhinestone Jewels

Quick Reminder:
Join us for the new Holiday Mini Catalog 2012 Subscription by visiting Create with Connie & Mary to sign up! We have something special going on today and the only way to join in is to go read all about it!

This is fantastic! I love how you embossed the Rich Razzleberry layer then smudged on some ink. I've been searching for cool Halloween projects and this is going on my CASE list! I hope you don't mind!
