My stamp set for the Card “Create”tions for All Occasions at Create with Connie & Mary this week was Love & Laughter. The Saturday portion of our creation uses the same stamp set we used during the week but using it as a favor. I turned my favor into a decorated rosette to use as a gift topper:

Stampin’ Up!’s Rosette Die makes this so easy for you as the die not only cuts but also scores all of the fold lines. I made my rosette with 2 pieces of designer paper at 2″ wide and glued them end-to-end. I used our Jumbo Sticky Rounds so that the rosette would stay intact and it also gave me adhesive to glue my doilies to. I also secured a piece of Bakers Twine in the back in case you want to hang it:

I added a double layer of doilies by gluing the centers together and curling the edges of the top doily a little. Wouldn’t this look good on a gift wrapped package or hanging from a gift bag?
