Dave and I own two cats…Abbie and Katie. This time of year, our cats seem to strive for attention because they are cooped up in the house so much. Dave calls it being “house queer”! They love the outdoors and with winter, they seldom frequent the fresh air. As they patiently sit by the door, yearning to venture out, we open the door, they procede to sniff the air, give you a look of disgust as if saying “you think I’m going out there, you’re nuts!” and quickly turn up their little noses and scatter. Abbie is so bored that as soon as Dave decides to sit at his desk working on quotes in his office, she jumps up and sits on his shoulder as if to say “look I’m here, what are you doing?”
I chose to highlight my card in pink, since both of our cats are female. I love the little paw image that is included in this set. Even though we do not own a dog, I also purchased the “D is for Dog” stamp set. You just never know when you’ll net a “Pet” card for someone you know. Each set comes with a sentiment stamp addressing the loss of a pet also.
