I have a funny little story to go with today’s post. I was on Facebook one night and three of my customers were having a conversation about me. You know how you can link a name to a Facebook post..well, all of a sudden my little red notification was alerting me that my name was mentioned. Lo and behold, Vicki, Cindy and Cyndee were discussing a photo and how “Debbie” could probably make a pop-up card using the photo:

I became part of the conversation for a few minutes then off I went to my stamp room because as you know….I just love a challenge. I surely WAS going to take their challenge to heart. This is the front of my card:

And this is the inside which is a pop-up card:

For the front I used the “Hardwood” stamp for the background inked in “Basic Gray Ink” over “Basic Gray Cardstock”. I stamped the sentiment from the “Just Sayin'” stamp set using “Basic Gray Ink” and cut it out using the “Word Bubbles Framelits Dies”. I cut a few more word bubbles in “Pumpkin Pie & Daffodil Delight Cardstock” and layered all three bubbles:

This is the sentiment for the inside of the card using the “Make A Wish” stamp set and the “Ovals Collection Framelits Dies”:

A close-up of my butterflies and how they are popped-up:

Pretty neat huh? All of my butterflies were stamped using the “Papillon Potpourri” stamp set and cut out with the “Elegant Butterfly Punch” and the “Bitty Butterfly Punch” using “Pumpkin Pie & Daffodil Delight Cardstock” and inked with “Basic Gray Ink”. I hope you have enjoyed my butterfly inspired card for today!
