Butterfly Brilliance 3D Sampler! - Debbie Henderson, Stampin' Up! Demonstrator

If you’ve been following me for awhile, you know that I love to create Samplers. When I purchased the new Butterfly Brilliance Bundle, I knew immediately that I wanted to use all of the products to create a Sampler. Unfortunately the Butterfly Bijou Designer Paper sold out a few weeks ago. Both the designer paper and the Natural Touch Specialty Paper are while supplies last.

I used the Natural Touch Specialty Paper 7″ x 7″ as my project base, and once I had all of my layers glued in place, I glued the whole thing on the front of a 12″ x 12″ painters canvas. Here are close-up photos of the details:

All of my butterfly colors are Just Jade, Pretty Peacock, Magenta Madness and Bumblebee. I have one layer of the designer paper in 6″ x 6″ and the sentiment is embossed on Vellum Cardstock. I actually inked up the sentiment in VersaMark Ink first followed by Magenta Madness Ink. The VersaMark keeps the inks wet so that you can sprinkle Clear Embossing Powder and heat with the Heat Tool to create your own colored embossing. I finished off the background with Pastel Pearls and I added a few diecut hearts on each side using the Many Hearts Dies.
