Brusho Crystal Colour in Triple!

Today I am showing you three identical cards but colored in three different ways. These cards were all created the exact same way with the same stamped sentiment and the same white embossed swirly images. I used Brusho Crystal Colours on all three cards but in three different manners.

First, here are my layers:

• Card Base: Basic Black Cardstock 11″ x 4-1/4″. Score and fold at 5-1/2″.
• Layer #2: Whisper White Cardstock 5-1/4″ x 4″. Stamp the swirly image repeatedly from the Falling Flowers stamp set around the area where the sentiment will be stamped later, using VersaMark Ink. Sprinkle with White Embossing Powder and melt the powder with a Heat Tool. Set aside to color with Brusho before gluing in place.

Card #1:

For this card, I sprinkled red Brusho on my work surface and added a few drops of water from an Aqua Painter. Mix the water and Brusho together. Trace the flourish lines with the Aqua Painter by dipping in the Brusho to add color. Allow to dry and stamp the sentiment at the top right-hand corner using Basic Black Ink and the Thankful Thoughts stamp set. Glue to card front. Add a few Black Rhinestone Jewels on the background.

Card #2:

Sprinkle red Brusho onto the white embossed flourishes. Carefully spritz the Brusho with a Stampin’ Spritzer filled with water. I then moved some of the wet color around to the edges with an Aqua Painter. Allow to dry and stamp the sentiment at the top right-hand corner using Basic Black Ink and the Thankful Thoughts stamp set. Glue to card front. Add a few Black Rhinestone Jewels on the background.

Card #3:

For this final card, I generously wet the area I wanted to color with an Aqua Painter and then sprinkled the Brusho very heavily. I also painted by spreading the wet Brusho using the Aqua Painter. The color turns out more vivid this way. Allow to dry and stamp the sentiment at the top right-hand corner using Basic Black Ink and the Thankful Thoughts stamp set. Glue to card front. Add a few Black Rhinestone Jewels on the background.
