It’s “black & orange” day today for our Saturday Blog Hop at Create with Connie & Mary! I let the Spooky Night Designer Paper do all of my work for me:

This designer paper is all black and orange so it was perfect. I even used my Cat Punch to cut out the cat image from the designer paper. Once all of my layers were cut, all I had left to do was add one stamped layer using the Festive Phrases stamp set. I stamped the image twice, once using Basic Black Ink and the 2nd one using Pumpkin Pie Ink. I made a separate banner for the orange layer by cutting around the sentiment and layering over the black image:

I quickly sent my card to a young boy who is fighting brain cancer in my home state of Maine. It was a Halloween card shower request he made to his Mom and I forgot to keep a note of the measurements of my card layers. I mailed it out the same day the card was created. If you are interested in doing this with one of your Halloween cards, here’s the story: Maine Boy Card Shower Request
