Awe…….a baby card! Aren’t babies just so precious? I was thinking of my 2-year old grand-daughter when I created this card. Kaitlynn is learning how to speak and sure is talking up a storm lately. Time sure flies! I’m lucky that she and my daughter Jessica, live close-by so I see them very often! I also get to pick her up from daycare twice a week while my daughter completes 2 college classes.
Okay, back to my card!!
I learned the layout of this card from Mary Brown’s blog. I just love the illusion of height on the front panel of this card. Using the “Curly Label Punch”, I punched 4. I then used “Stampin’ Dimensionals” and popped my layered over a second layer of the same color cardstock. For this card I used “Very Vanilla Cardstock”. You now have 4 little windows to work with!
The stamped image is from the “A La Carte” section of the catalog. These are individual stamps that can be purchased for a small price. I stamped the image twice and cut them out with my “Paper Snips”. Position both images anywhere you like in the windows. I added the tiniest of the “Pearls Jewels” for the eyes. I stamped the images again and cut out the ears and colored them with my “Stampin’ Write Markers” and glued them on top of the first images.
