The card I am showing you today was created with a Hostess Stamp Set called Apple Blossoms. You can earn this set for free by hosting a Stampin’ Up! workshop with sales of $300.00.
Workshops are a wonderful way of getting together with family & friends, earning free products and learning some new stamping techniques. I don’t know of a more relaxing time out with the girls than stamping!
I used this stamp set in 3 different ways on this card. I first used the stamps as a background by stamping the Certainly Celery cardstock with Certainly Celery ink and also with a darker ink, Wild Wasabi. I then used the stamp set for my focal image in the center, stamped on a 2 3/8″ Circle Punched shaped. For the third option, I used the stamp set by stamping the flower image on Whisper White cardstock and hand-cutting the images so that they “pop” on my card.
This type of card is called a monochromatic card because I stuck with one color shade. I also added Shimmer Mist on the flowers as you can tell by the photo above.
