Good morning readers. So glad you decided to join me today. I have 3 wonderful cards to show you today. Last Saturday a group of girls gathered for Anne’s workshop. This was the first card I demo’d for them using some new products:

A few days before that I happened to be visiting my teammate from the Create with Connie & Mary design team Elizabeth Price’s blog and found this adorable 3D bow. Thanks Elizabeth for showing this. I totally fell in love with it. I’ll have a post later showing you how to make one:

I also used the Primrose Petals Core’dinations Paper along with the Beautifully Baroque Embossing Folder. I then used a Sanding Block to reveal the inside layer of my cardstock. This gives such a cool antiqued, distressed, or color-popping look, don’t you agree?

Card Supplies:
- Cardstock: Basic Black, Whisper White, Core’dinations
- Inks: Primrose Petals, StazOn Jet Black
- DSP: Modern Medley
- Tools: Big Shot Machine, Ovals Collection Framelits, Mini Glue Dots, Sanding Block, Beautifully Baroque Embossing Folder
- Stamps: Happy Day
- Accessories: In Color Dahlias
For Card #2, I used a bundle product which includes the Wildflower Meadow Embossing Folder & Stamp:

I used Stampin’ Write Markers to color my stamp, huffed on my stamp to re-moisten and then stamped my image. I then lined up my embossing folder to match the stamp image and embossed the cardstock using my Big Shot Machine:

I also showed the girls how to layer the Decorative Label Punch with a few quick steps. Here is a tutorial I have listed on my Free Tutorials Page: Decorative Label Punch Layering
Card Supplies:
- Cardstock: Wild Wasabi, Summer Starfruit, Whisper White
- Inks: Summer Starfruit, Stampin’ Write Markers
- Tools: Wildflower Meadow Embossing Folder, Decorative Label Punch, Stampin’ Dimensionals, Mini Glue Dots
- Stamps: Wildflower Meadow, Really Good Greetings
- Accessories: 3/8″ Stitched Satin Ribbon
And the final card that all the workshop attendees made to take home with them:

I really like the look of these two colors together, Pumpkin Pie & Tempting Turquoise. Thanks to Connie Babbert for this card idea. She is also on the design team Create with Connie & Mary:

The girls first cut out the label shape using the Apothecary Accents Framelits Dies and then used an oval from the Ovals Collection Framelits Dies and cut a hole in the center of the label. We added paper piercing using our templates and a paper piercer. The image was stamped using Pumpkin Pie Ink on Whisper White Cardstock and cut out with a size smaller oval. Both pieces are glued in place with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Stampin’ Up! Supplies:
- Cardstock: Pumpkin Pie, Whisper White
- Inks: Pumpkin Pie, Tempting Turquoise
- Tools: Big Shot Machine, Ovals Collection Framelits Dies, Apothecary Accents Framelits Dies, Stampin’ Dimensionals, Paper Piercer, Essentials Paper Piercing Pack
- Stamps:Tea Party, A Dozen Thoughts
- DSP: Brights Paper Pack
