Good morning and I’m so glad you are here today! I’m sure you’ve all seen the cute shopping list pads that you can purchase at some of the dollar stores or department stores. Some have magnets on the back so you can stick them to your refrigerator to keep track of groceries you need or you can alter them like I did here for today’s project:
One of these pads was altered so that I would have a finished product to show on a Facebook Live Class that I held on my Debbie’s Designs Facebook page. I had so much fun dressing up this pad. The 2nd one was created during my Facebook Live Class.
This is what the inside looks like. I scored and folded the designer paper into a booklet with a pocket on the inside:
And I added lots and lots of layering using so many products. The addition of the Gold Foil Sheets die-cut layers go so well with the gold from the Broadway Bound Specialty Designer Paper.
I finished off the project by adding a splash of color with the Red Rhinestone Jewels. I thought they were perfect to make a small statement. What do you think?
I even added a topper to the shopping list pad to coordinate with the designer paper on the outside of the project. It’s actually a flap so you can still tear off the pages as needed:
Have you ever joined me for my LIVE Classes on my Debbie’s Designs Facebook page? I am actually hosting a class tonight at 7 pm EST for my Sunday Share. Come see me here:
Now you can view my video and learn how to create this Altered Shopping List Pad. If you can’t view the video below, I have also included the clickable link below the video:
