Alaska Incentive Trip Swap Cards!

Dave and I are flying back home today so I’ll have some future posts high-lighting our Alaska Trip!

Today is called production-style-stamping! While on the Alaska Incentive Trip, we have the option of participating in two swaps. One is for cards and the 2nd is for 3D items. I signed up for the cards only swap because I couldn’t imagine flying all the way from Maine to Seattle Washington with 3D swamps!

So I started my process. I knew I wanted to use Brusho Crystal Colours for my background and what you see here are 26 Whisper White Cardstock layers:

I added green Brusho to the top half and blue Brusho to the bottom half and then sprinkled water with a spritzer. I left them all of my table to air dry and then this happened:

You can see all of the cardstock layers I cut up and then glued one of the Brusho layers to make sure I liked the colors. I then stamped and die-cut 26 octopuses/octopi by using VersaMark Ink and White Embossing Powder on Old Olive Cardstock. This is my completed card:

So as you can see, I have three cardstock layers and then I have 10 die-cut pieces on each card x 26! I used the Sea Of Textues stamp set and Under The Sea Dies. That’s a lot of die-cutting but oh so worth it! I wish I would have taken a photo of my table with all the piles of die-cuts. It was pretty impressive!

And I love that the sand dollar die-cuts the center to look like little stars so we can use those in the mix too! To complete my card I added some Iridescent Sequins in the background:
