For Week #3 of my Adult Education Class, we worked on a Christmas and a fall card. The first card demonstrates the Rolling Marble Technique:

This is a fun way to add an interesting background to a card. We start out by using a Full Wide Stamp Case. Add a few drops of re-inker to one side of the case on the inside (2-3) and glue a piece of cardstock to the inside of the opposite side (just add a small strip of Snail Adhesive n the center on the back). Close the cover so the cardstock is sitting at the top and roll the marbles in the ink. Now flip the case over so the cardstock is on the bottom and roll the marbles on the cardstock. It’s magic! Open the case and peel the cardstock off and you now have a background!
Card #2:

For the 2nd card, I showed the girls how to use a scrap piece of paper to sponge a table for our pumpkins and gourds. We added the remainder of the stamped images from the Gourd Goodness stamp set. So fun!
Enjoy your day today!

Great cards, Debbie. The marble technique is new to me…I guess I don't get out much. LOL!! It certainly makes a very interesting background and perfect for the Christmas card. Both cards are very pretty. Have a great day! Congrats on earning the trip to Alaska. We went there a few years ago and loved it!! So beautiful!
Thanks HJ, I was excited to earn this trip for my hubby. It's on his bucket list!
Nifty cards. I've tried that marble technique before. It's pretty cool, but not as cool as yours came out. Does the reinker stain the cases?
Thanks Judy. When I was done with the class, I rinsed the whole case under water and it all disappeared. I think the Archival Black and Gray Inks would probably stain but the rest should be okay!
