Welcome to our team July, A Paper Pumpkin Thing Blog Hop. The kit for July is called Picnic Paradise and oh how cute and adorable! If you are not a subscriber, you sure missed a good one! As always, our team creates Alternative Projects using the kit. We all create a card and a 3D item. Take a peek at the two projects I created for this month:

First off is my card. I used our Stampin’ Up! Whisper White Narrow Note Cards & Envelopes to create this cute card with coordinating flap on my envelope:

All I added to the card was a strip of the gingham tissue paper that came with the kit and a few other layers. The tissue paper measures 3-1/4″ high and the width of the pre-scored card. I also added a starburst layer that I cut using the card base that came with the kit and the Starburst Punch:

For the sentiment, I used one from the kit and then cut above and below the sentiment to make it skinnier. I added one of the large strawberries and a sticky leaf.
For the envelope I glued some of the tissue paper to the flap and fussy-cut around the flap with my Paper Snips.
Next is my 3D project, I created a smaller treat holder by using the picnic basket layer that came with the kit:

I cut off the two smaller side flaps and then scored in the center and folded the center like you see in Photo 1:

I then added the sticky strips from the kit around the front and back flaps and overlapped the two small scored ends. I also cut one of the smaller strips in half to glue to the inside so the two smaller sections wouldn’t be sticky. Here’s a side view:

I then decorated the front with some of the strawberry die-cuts, some twine, some leaves and a sentiment. I hope you liked my two projects for this month. I will now send you off to visit my teammates. Reminder that you are visiting Debbie Henderson so you can click on the person below me to continue the hop and thanks for visiting me today!
