This kit has been very popular and everyone was so excited to receive theirs. Were you lucky enough to be a subscriber for the month of October? Look at everything that was included in our kits:

For my alternative projects this month, I had fun playing around with the Mercury Glass Designer Acetate Sheets. So easy to add them to the front of a card with Mini Glue Dots. Whatever color you use for a cardstock base, peeks through the openings in the acetate sheets. Here I used Whisper White for all of my projects. Don’t it look like it’s snowing?

I fussy-cut the trees from the printed card bases that came with the kit and split the trees in half so that I could tuck and glue one on each side. All of the layers you see are from the kit. The next two cards are my two 3″ x 3″ mini cards:

For the first one, I stamped the snowflake image from the stamp set in Night Of Navy Ink and cut out with a the Layering Circles Dies and layered with a larger circle using Coastal Cabana Cardstock. I also used the Classic Label Punch to cut out the sentiment. A simple 1″ strip from one of the printed cards from the kit really adds a splash of color.
The 2nd card uses all of layers from the kit but in a smaller size. Just trim and cut everything to fit nicely into a smaller version. I love those cute cardinal birds, don’t you?
