Out of all the tags I am showing you for my 12 Days of Christmas Tags, I think this one is my favorite! Welcome to Day #8 and I’m so glad you are visiting me! I’m a little late posting this morning. I had three posts yesterday that put me a little behind. If you missed them, make sure you scroll down to view them all!
I love the combination of Night Of Navy, Gold Foil and the yellowish sheet of designer paper. All three look fabulous together:
The Gold Foil Sheets cut super-well when using framelits & thinlits and I added some Gold Cording Trim behind the stamped circle:
Here’s the tag recipe:
- Layer #1: Night Of Navy Cardstock measuring 2-1/4″ x 5-1/4″. Cut the top using the Ornate Tag Topper Punch. Trim excess on the sides once punched.
- Layer #2: Season Of Cheer DSP 2″ x 5″. Cut the top using the Ornate Tag Topper Punch. Glue to layer #1.
- Layer #3: Cut 1 circle using Night Of Navy Cardstock and the 2-1/2″ Circle Punch. Stamp the tree image from the Wonderland stamp set using VersaMark Ink and sprinkle White Embossing Powder. Use the Heat Tool to melt the powder. Use Gold Cording Trim to create loops on the back of the circle. Glue circle in place using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Layer #4: Cut 2 holly leaves using the Festive Flower Builder Punch. Layer them together and glue in place with a Stampin’ Dimensional. Glue two loops of Gold Cording Trim on top of the leaves. Stamp the pinecones from the Winter Wishes stamp set twice using Night of Navy Ink on Whisper White Cardstock and hand-cut. Glue over the Gold Cording Trim.
- Sentiment: Cut the sentiment from the Christmas Greetings Thinlits Dies using Gold Foil Sheets. Glue over the circle.
- Bling: Add a few White Perfect Accents to the background and add Gold Cording Trim to the hole at the top!
