So I hope you are liking my idea of 12 Days of Christmas Tags this year. If you missed Day #1 you can scroll down to view my post from yesterday. Today I bring you to Day #2 with this beautiful tag using various shades of purples:

I love using non-traditional colors for my Christmas projects and I know a lot of you out there love the color purple. How pretty and simple is this tag?

I used Wisteria Wonder, Perfect Plum and Elegant Eggplant Cardstocks. How perfect to layer them the way I did. I used the Sleigh Ride Edgelits Dies for 2 of the layers:

- Using the Lots of Labels Framelits Dies (your choice of size), cut 1 using Elegant Eggplant Cardstock. Use the 1/4″ Circle Punch to add a hole at the top. Stamp the snowflakes in the background using Whisper White Ink.
- Using a scrap piece of Perfect Plum and a 2nd piece of Wisteria Wonder Cardstocks, cut the house border using the Sleigh Ride Edgelits Dies. Position and glue the Perfect Plum layer on your tag about half-way up with the houses at the left-hand edge. Place and glue the Wisteria Wonder layer a little lower with the houses at the right-hand edge making sure the cardstock covers all the way to the bottom. Place the label shape over the tag making sure to line up the cuts at the top and run through the Big Shot Machine a 2nd time to trim the cardstock layers off.
- Sentiment: Stamp the sentiment at the bottom using Elegant Eggplant Ink
- Ribbon: Tie a ribbon around the tag above the sentiment and tie in a double-know. Trim. Tie a piece of ribbon at the top through the hole.
